Requirements and Reminders

Unlock Root works only on Windows computers. You will need a computer running Windows 7/Vista/XP.
Install the USB drivers for your device before you use Unlock Root. You can usually download the drivers from your device manufacturer’s website. Or, if you received a driver CD together with your device, install the drivers using the installer on the CD.

Instructions

Download the Unlock Root software. Get it straight from the developer’s website.
Enable USB Debugging mode on your device. You can do this by going to Settings > Applications > Development on your device.
Connect your device to your PC using a USB cable.
Run “UnlockRoot.exe”. Wait for your handset to be automatically detected.
Choose your device from the list of autodetected devices.
Click the Root button to start the rooting process.
Wait for it to complete the installation, after which you’ll be greeted with a message saying your device has been successfully rooted.
After the rooting process, simply reboot your device for the changes to take effect.

Congratulations! You have successfully rooted your device. You can check whether or not you have root access by locating the Superuser app on your device or installing an app that requires root access.

Tweet The Song You're Listening in iTunes

TunesTweeter is a simple tool developed to tweet the songs you are listening to on iTunes to Twitter. The good – your friends will know which songs you like. The bad – Twitter stream will be full of songs and no other media player is supported except iTunes.

Just start the program, enter you login credentials and hit Login.

Now start iTunes and begin listening to your favorite songs. While they are playing, the song sand artist name will be tweeted.

You can hit Hide and it will vanish but the program will not close. It will continue tweeting all songs that you listen to. To close the app, you will have to right-click the system tray icon and hit Close.

How to Save Facebook Chat History

Your messages are securely stored and only person passed the security check can view saved messages.Note that all messages are stored in your client, this application won’t store your chat history on server.
There is a Firefox addon known as Facebook Chat history manager that let’s you save your Facebook chat history.
First go to Firefox addon page Download Facebook Chat history manager for Firefox and add it to Firefox. After installing, restart the browser.
Login to your Facebook account. Go to Tools –> Facebook chat history manager If you won’t find Facebook chat history manager option under tools then go to Tools –> Add-ons –> Facebook chat history manager and click on the “Enable” button if the add-on is disabled.A new window will pop up telling you to close the window and return to the application. Click on “Close login window”. Your Facebook ID will pop up. Copy it in the clipboard.

Now go to Tools –> Facebook Chat History Manager –> Create Account to create a new account.

Note: This is to create a new Facebook chat history manager account, not your new Facebook account.

Type your Facebook ID, login name and the new password for your Facebook chat history manager account. Click on “Create” button.

A small pop up will appear telling you that your account has been created successfully. Click OK button.

Now go to Facebook account and chat with your friends. Your chat will be recorded and you can view the recorded chat anytime you want. There are two ways of viewing chat.
1) Online: Visit view chat history.

2) Offline: Press “Controll+Alt+F” keyboard shortcut to open chat history window. You need to login with your username and password. Fill your chat history manager login credentials in the space provided. Press OK.

You can view the chat history in your browser. On left, you can view your friend’s name. Click on it to see the entire chat history. You can click on the links given on the top to sort the chat according to yesterday, last week, last month and last year. That’s how you can save chat history of Facebook in Firefox.

Google Play Store Updated to v3.5.15 : Download It Now

If you were engrossed by last week’s Apple announcements, you may have missed the fact that the Android Market was renamed to the Google Play Store. The Big G felt the move would better reflect the content available, which now includes books, movies, music and apps.

With 850,000 daily activations (as per the ever-boastful Android chief Andy Rubin), Google needs to make sure its retention rates are equally as impressive. Despite enjoying a greater reach with its Android OS compared with rival Apple’s iOS, it’s generally accepted that content is easier to obtain from the vaster App Store, prompting developers to favor the Cupertino company’s online portal.

Indeed, developers are hardly going to leap onto the Android platform considering the current situation, which has seen devs complaining about delayed revenue payments from Google. Europe-based software coders have besieged forums in recent weeks, arguing that their February fees had not been received on 7 March as scheduled.

Still, even with the developers up in arms, Google has released a new build of the Google Play Store app (build 3.5.15), which is now available for download. Features include a new tabbed interface in the “My Apps” section, as well as more concise, informative app reviews, which allow you to see the specific device of the person leaving the review, as well as filter your search results by device.

Seeing as the Google Play Store is still in relative infancy, the likelihood of regular updates such as this are high, and if each revision turns up a couple of useful new features like this one has, Google’s vision of a well-functioning, streamlined content center could certainly bear fruit.

Will it be comparable to the App Store in terms of content and usability? Only time will tell; but removing the Android branding in favor of Google is certainly a step in the right (PR) direction.

How to Remove Passwords from PDF Files

Some PDF files come with restrictions that limit our work. We can’t print, copy or edit the content of an encrypted PDF file. And this could be the case even when you have the legal right to modify the document or copy from it that are protected by a long and complex password. You know the passwords but it still feels inconvenient and boring typing them each time you have to open a PDF file.

There’s a free Windows utility called BeCyPDFMetaEdit that can help you remove passwords from PDF files* but without make any other change to the document. (I am not sure why the developers picked such a complex name for this useful utility).

To Remove Passwords from your PDF Files

1. Downaload BeCyPDFMetaEdit & Install it on your PC.

2. Launch the program and it will ask your for the location of the PDF file.

3. Before you select and open the PDF, change the mode to “Complete Rewrite.”

4. Switch to the Security tab and set the “Security System” to “No encryption.” Click the Save button and your PDF will no longer require a password to open.

Note: - To Remove Password From PDF File, You have to once enter the correct password on BeCyPDFMetaEdit.

This article will show you how to install the Metro UI of windows 8 on to your windows 7 operating systems. The steps are easy and quick.

This is how my Windows 7 desktop looks like. This is as similar to the Windows 8 UI. You can modify or alter the settings of the tiles as per your requirements. You can get your gmail or hotmail account live on the tiles. Internet Explorer, Picture slides, Computer and many more. Apart from this you will also get all the restart, sleep, logoff and shutdown buttons right on this interface. So what are you waiting for just follow the steps below :

Step 1. First download a copy of Rain meter on your Windows 7 OS according to your 32 or 64 bit system.

Step 2. If its in a Zip file, normally it won't if you download it from the rain meter website itself. But if its in a Zip file, extract those and install as per instructions available.

Step 3. After you are done installing, Download the theme Omnimo 3.1 skin for rain meter.

Step 4. Extract the file and double click on omnimo.rmskin and follow the instructions accordingly.
